I am not sure how to describe the debut novel of Letitia Anderson, Sins of the Past. Multiple characters and multiple storylines made it difficult to keep up with all the antics in the lives of attorney at law, Esteria Arie Shaw, and her partner and cousin, Stephanie Denise Boudreaux. SINS OF THE PAST takes readers on an emotional roller coaster ride with two young women who are best friends, who share a law practice and more importantly who share a past.
Esteria believed she had finally lain to rest the stifling memories of her father's incestuous attacks and the brutal rape by her best friend's brother, which produced a daughter. You can't put it down
This is one of the best books I have read this year, and I read a lot. It hooked me from the beginning to the end. 'Sins of the Past,' will keep you wanting to know more and more that you couldn't put it down. I did not finish reading the first chapter when I call my sister who loves to read like me and told her to go get it. Just like me she could not put it down and finished it in two days. Rating: - never a dull moment
I give this book five stars and a thumbs up. There was never a lule in the book. I read this book twice. It had one event after another that made me wonder what else could happen. It carried me through every emotion and, has the steamy love sences as a plus. I think that it takes a great writier to write about some of the deep subjects in this book and, a brave person to do the hard work that a self published writier has to do.
