Rating:  - Decent, inexpensive little radio.
If you're looking for a very inexpensive radio, and are thinking about one of those Scan/Reset types of FM radios, do yourself a favor and consider this one instead.
For the price, I'm not overly disappointed with this radio. It's so tiny that it's cute, and includes a decent speaker. The FM reception is on par, picking up and playing local stations with ease, and does not suffer from signal drift or bleeding.
AM reception is substandard; interference from other stations is abundant, and drift is completely unavoidable when moving. In one particular area, no matter where the AM dial is placed, all you can hear is the station being broadcast in that area!
While the unit does not output a stereo signal, the headphone jack allows use of stereo headphones on both sides, unlike most mono radios. The tuning dial is difficult to read, but is stiff enough that stations don't drift out of place often, and is still better than most cheap "FM Scan" radios.
Overall, this radio is a competant and inexpensive FM radio, and definitely recommended over any FM Scan type of radio.
