Rating: out of 5 stars - It's a great buy
This book has changed me. I am one of those who used to wear t-shirt & jeans all the time. If you look into my closet you would only find 3 color black, gray, and blue. Mom has told me for years to buy different color but I couldn't break this bad habit until I read this book. I learned to accept my body. Now I more selective in buying and wearing clothes, which size, cut & style enhance my body.

Rating: out of 5 stars - A must have fashion book
I love Trinny and Susannah. Unlike their American counterpart, T&S really explain the rules of what and what not to wear for each part of your body you love and loathe.

This book is very simplistic, full of pictures to demonstrate how to camouflage the parts of your body you want to keep under wraps. It's easy to follow rules to show off the parts of your body that you like and hide the parts you loathe.

I would never have spent $300.00 for a jacket before T&S. But with their rules in hand and a 3-way mirror in the dressing room, I am confident in my purchases. The clothes I have bought post T&S don't hang in my closet collecting dust. They are my favorites and they are the clothes I constantly get compliments on.

I have no waist and a big stomach. I know how to camaflouge that area after T&S and I know how to play up my assets. A great read and a reference book you'll return to again and again.

Great book! Both witty & informative! I wish the authors lived in my closet to dole out timely advice every morning!

Rating: out of 5 stars - Trinny & Susannah's What Not To Wear Book
Like the reviewer "Hope", I found this book confusing if you have more than one body flaw. The advice in one section will contradict advice for the second section. This makes everyone confused. And what if you don't have major figure problems? If you're more or less average, this book won't help you. Moreover, it is not geared for the classic dresser, or one who works in a traditional suits-only profession. I saw no examples of clothing I could wear to my pharma sales job. The pictures were either eveningwear, or mostly bohemian, stretch, trendy and/or synthetic outfits in bold colors. The authors' advice to wear only color with color is very retro-1980s--which may not suit everyone's taste. I gave this book away as soon as I read it.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Aptly Titled
This book uses a clever format contrasting good and bad examples. Sometimes it's hard to understand why something (ex. shoulder pads) is wrong without seeing a more current alternative. The problem is that the so-called good examples are often equally bad. This book gets credit for imagining some truly freakish fashions. Who shows up to an interview with a knee length jacket and flared pants - unless it's for a Bea Arthur bio pic? Why criticize a dress for giving an eye-full and then laude a woman popping out of her v-neck on the preceding page and a woman sporting obvious nipples (can I say that on Amazon.com?) on the next page? This book gets an additional star for being hilarious but it's purely unintentional.
