There are a lot of valuable pieces of software on this CD-Rom. You get about 4 or 5 study Bibles (including the NIV Study Bible), the UBS 4th edition Greek New Testament, the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, Greek and Hebrew morphologies and concordances, (there are also exhaustive concordances to a number of Bible translations, including the NIV) and lots of good reference books, including Carson, Moo and Morris' Introduction to the New Testament, Longman and Dillard's outstanding Old Testament Introduction, and the 5 volume Zondervan Pictorial Encyclopedia of the Bible (which is getting a little dated, it is 30 year old scholarship.)
You also get Mounce's Basics of Biblical Greek, and other wonderful language tools, including an Analytical Lexicon and a Reader's Lexicon that parses each word of the New Testament verse by verse. That is one of my favorite resources! I also like the Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties and the Encyclopedia of Biblical Archaeology.
There are Bible dictionaries, a wonderful dictionary of the Christian church, and the two volume Zondervan NIV Bible Commentary, and the New International Bible Commentary (which is basically an abridgement of the 12 volume Expositor's Bible Commentary.
This software uses the proprietary Pradis software systen by Zondervan, which I am sorry to report is slow and sluggish, nowhere near as smooth and seamless and fast as the Libronix Digital Library System.
Moreover, I wish that Zondervan would have included some of its more modern single volume New Testament commentaries instead of giving us a bunch of old Lightfoot and Eadie commentaries from the 1800s.
But all told, this is an excellent library. I would splurge and get this piece of software even if you have other pieces of software, because some of the resources on this CD-Rom cannot be found anywhere else. Let us pray that Zondervan will get wise and give us a more user friendly engine to work with instead of the poor Pradis.

I've tried just about every Bible software program out there, and they all have the same thing in common, WAY too expensive, and TOTALLY non-intuitive. My major requirement for any software of any kind is that I be able to figure out all the basics by simply playing with the program. This is the ONLY Bible software that gives you that. It's not the cheapest program, but you do get the most features for the least cost as compared to other Bible software products out there. It's the first time buying Bible software where I felt the cost was even close to worth it.
I'd especially recommend this to people who write sermons or Sunday School lessons, etc.. It gives you a lot of info very quick and easy. If you're just looking to search and look up verses, you definitely want to look at cheaper software. But if you want a real study tool this thing is great. Like I said, I've tried them all, and this is the only one I will ever use. I didn't hesitate to gleefully delete $300 Bible software off my hard drive and install this into its place (even though I had plenty of room for both).
Rating: - Just what I was looking for
I was trying to find a Bible software that would help me with my daily Bible study. One major requirement was that it had to be NIV, because that is the version I like to use.
At first, I was a little disappointed with the software. The instructions are greatly lacking, but with much trail and error, I finally got everything to work. I know have the various Bibles linked and all the commentaries and resource books. So now when I'm looking at a verse, all the other books adjust to the verse I'm on. Makes it very easy to review numerous resources with very little effort.
If you want a great way to research the Bible, I would highly recommend this software. Just remember, the instructions are some what lacking, but with a little effort one can adjust the settings and have the program customized just for your needs.
Rating: - Power Tool
I had no problem figuring out the software interface. The commentaries and parallel translations are great. I have used the study guide to develop sermon outlines. It would take a stack of books 6 feet tall to equal the resources available. The NIV is not public domain like so many older translations so you don't find as many programs available. Kudos to Zondervan for developing such a good NIV resource.
