This was my favorite book when I was diagnosed. It is down to earth advice and information. It was the book I picked up and reread when I was nervous about different treatments and medications. If I had to only purchase one book - this would be it.

I bought this book for a neighbor and good friend that was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She is only 38 years young and had to go through the surgery twice because the doctors did not get all the cancer in the first surgery. She read this book, so she told me, from cover to cover and it helped her a lot in talking with her doctors. Again, thank you!

This book is wonderful in helping women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. The book gives you explanations as to what could happen with your treatment.
