This fabulous animated presentation of Jonathan Swifts classic story was only the second full-length animated feature ever produced. This story has fascinated both children and adults for centuries, and this feature brings the story to life.
Gulliver, the lone survivor of a violent storm, swims ashore and falls asleep, exhausted by his ordeal. He wakes up to find himself in the strange, miniaturized kingdom of the Lilliputs. People, no taller than six inches are fascinated by the "giant" and plan to use his immense strength to defeat their enemy. Gulliver spends a delightful time with his tiny friends and steps in to prevent war between two kingdoms that were once on friendly terms.
"Gulliver's Travels" was written by the famous 17th Century writer Jonathan Swift and adapted for the screen by Edmond Seward and his gifted team. The well-known tale is retold in a fascinating manner in this animated feature.

I have an original VHS Tape of this movie which has been a favorite of mine since I was a young adult. My VHS tape is 83 minutes, the new Re-mastered CD is 73 minutes. The CD I currently have is a second copy as the first one was of very, very poor quality. It definately looked like a amature copy. The second is definately better but there are missing scenes. Rating:  - NOT the whole film
Gulliver's Travels is a fun and charming film, but this edition of it has at least one scene cut out. Gabby's song near the beginning of the movie, 'All's Well' is missing, and so is the part where he discovers Gulliver asleep on the beach. There may be other missing scenes as well, I don't know as I stopped watching in disappointment when I realized the film had been cut so drastically.
Bad job, Amazon, for not stating up front that this is not the whole movie! Now I've wasted my money.

Rating: - You MUST Own This Children's Classic...For Their Sake!!!
This is quite simply one of the greatest children's classics of all time and this particular production is worth the money.
Lemule Gulliver washes ashore and encounters a land of tiny people. Through adventures, they come to understand that it is important not to judge a book by its cover...A classic lesson to learn.
This vintage american cartoon classic is a must own for every collection.
I highly recommend this title.
Rating: - Great Transaction & Good DVD Quality
The copy available through Triad Productions under the used section is the same DVD but without the shrinkwrap.
Mine was in Brand New condition and came straight from the manufacturer. If you can get past the shrinkwrap thing and don't mind saving 5 bucks, I highly recommend purchasing it through the reseller section.
