I've already been sold on the quality of the Guitar Hero family of games. Good Songs - no problems with the guitar - high replay value. The only con to getting the Wii version is the lack of downloadable content. If you want to be able to download more songs try the Xbox 360 version.

My husband bought this for me because I was going to be laid up for a while, and needed something to do, instead of just sitting around. That was a huge mistake. You can't play this game just sitting. If you are like me, you have to really get in to the game, standing and moving, arching your back, and moving your legs. Rating: - My kids love it!
I don't play it and I can't speak to the features of the game or compare versions, but from the number of nine and ten year old boys coming over to the house since we bought it, I'd say it's a hit!
My daughter, age 14 is the one who wanted to buy it, with babysitting money, and she does play it and seems to enjoy it, but my ten year old is in love with the game.

My son initially bought the Wii and Guitar Hero for his room but the whole family enjoyed it so much that we purchased a 2nd Wii and guitar for our family TV. So much fun!!! Even my husband and I (late 50's) have fun with it. Totally recommend it!!
