Rating: - Raabe is Right...
This is one great DVD for those of us who like the stylings of this kind of Orchestra, and which can transport one back to those halcyon days of yesterday in a brand-new venue. Max Raabe and Palast Orchester: Dance & Film Music of 1920s is worth every penny charged, and then some.

A marvelous DVD. I have seen Max Raabe's program live on several occasions and this DVD certainly captures the flavor and excitement of a live program. His show is slick and his musical artistry first-rate. I'm looking forward to a second DVD.
Rating: - Let's Have More

The picture quality and sound are terrific. The subtitles are good and very useful the first time through to get the hilarious patter between numbers. One must set the television or monitor to other than full screen to see them properly.
I am awaiting the rumored DVD of the recent Japan concert, some of which is in the bonus ... Read More
Rating: - Absolutely wonderful!
Mr. DeRiemer has already written a wonderful and accurate review of this DVD, so I won't repeat his comments. This is an outstanding disc! Exceptional!! I only hope that Herr Raabe and his fantastic "Palast Orchester" will provide us with more Region 0 (worldwide) DVD's to enjoy.
