Rating: out of 5 stars - Acronis 10 worked for me-w XP Pro
For what it's worth - I've used this program to backup my disk and restore my hard disk image several times, from several different backups. It's always worked fine, whereas Norton Ghost completely failed to work.
As for backup size, I mostly use incremental backup so the backup files are less than a gig. I'm not sure how well the compression works

Rating: out of 5 stars - Acronis True Image Home has not found any hard disk drives.
i have problem with windows and want to restore the entire hard drive. I am very disappointed that Acronis True Image 10 gives me the error:" Acronis True Image Home has not found any hard disk drives." I have 3 hard drives and Acronis TI10 allows me to browse all three for image files but when I clicked restore, it analyzed for awhile then generated the error message again and did nothing. This software doesn't worth the money. It didn't do what it supposes to do.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Archive corrupt
It worked great until I actually needed to restore a disk after Windows crashed. 3 hours into a 5-hour restore I got the message "archive corrupt". Now I'm screwed. Previous review pretty well sums it up.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Acronis 10 Image Restore Failure
I am usually the last person to sit down and take the time to write a review of anything. This product let me down in a big way, however, so I feel I should share this for what it is worth to anyone considering this product. I researched backup software a little over two years ago and it came down to Acronis or Norton Ghost. It was a tough choice, but I tilted slightly toward Acronis and hence started with Acronis TrueImage v9. Acronis was forever offering new builds so I kept up with them and ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Acronis True Image Excellent Live Chat Help
I was skeptical that all the claims to this product would be true prior to installing the product and backing up my HD primary partition with the disk image. This version #10 product has EXCELLENT features at an honest price. I went so far as to create an image of my single partition older 40 GB HD. Then, I purchased a 120 GB for my Dell Inspiron and partitioned the drive into 4 partitions, with the primary boot partition set to 40 GB. I copied the saved Acronis Image of the old drive over to this ... Read More
