Rating:  - nice adaptation of L&O show to pc games
I bought this set based on watching a friend play the first title, Dead On The Money, several years ago. He was using Win-98 but this game can work on XP and even Vista; what helps alot is installing the latest version of Java with VM from Sun's site. I also used compatibility mode on the setup programs and set them to XP SP2. The games seem to work flawlessly now. Rating:  - Burn your $$ Instead
Am a microsoft certified specialist. My computer exeeds recommended requirements. I'll be dipped if I can get this to run!! Game not only chokes and freezes, but it changes my desk top settings with each attempt (real pain). "Read Me" and UBI Support (oxymoron) NO help... Would be better entertained taking $$ paid for this set out back, setting it on fire, and watching the flames!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

The game and its stories are excellent. I usually prefer games based on solving crimes. One big goof-up in the game that is inexcusable, considering that the Law and Order show itself is made with extreme care - the witnesses come to court in plain clothes and leather jackets. What the hell? Everyone who comes to court must be in suits. This is a major goof-up, as far as I am concerned. I am a big L&O show fan.

Love the show and love the game. I find it to be fun and challenging. I have had to use walkthroughs (http://www.quandaryland.com/jsp/dispArticle.jsp?index=673)to figure somethings out but overall, it rocks. I love being the detective and going to trail. It has to be a little difficult or it would not be fun. It is just like the show right down to the wise cracks. As for the computer requirements it says on the box Windows XP only. omg this sucks! i wanted to play this game so bad, but it won't work with vista! i'm reluctant to try anything after reading the other reviews about messing up the computer. i may go to the website...but it's a major bummer!
