Rating:  - One of my ten favorite movies!
I bought the "Legacy Series" disc to get a wide screen version, and it is a very fine upgrade from my older 4:3 aspect version.
I can't comment on the additional content of the second disc. I generally don't even watch that stuff.
Rating: - One For The Ages
This movie is excellent, with a stellar cast headed by Paul Newman and Robert Redford at their peak. You have to see this movie in order to fully appreciate it; no words or someone else's review can do it justice. As for the Amazon part of it, it came timely and in excellent condition. However, I had trouble with the checkout process and double ordered this movie. Rating: - Great movie, period!!!
Forget about the aspect ratio, focus on the film and it's plot...The story is superb, the acting is first class, the customs and the beautiful music is unique!!!! The HD version is great with no "snowy" images when is shot in the dark (like Blu-ray).. I love this movie. If you are a true movie lover without prejudices, you will love it!!

The Sting
We were very pleased with the DVD. It brought back memories of when we had originally seen the movie. Interestingly we found that there were parts we didn't remember. We are really happy we bought it.
Rating: - Still Great
Unfortunately, once you've seen the "twist" ending, the movie loses some luster, but the performances are first rate, and it's still a wonderful film all these years later. Great trivia regarding the casting- Luthor is played by James Earl Jones father, who was also a solid actor!
