Editorial Review: The chakra system represents the complete spectrum of the human experience. Through Kundalini Yoga's special blend of breathing, movement, stretching, meditation, and chanting, you'll shine like the sun! This comprehensive, 90 min. complete body/mind/spirit workout offers exercises and meditative techniques for each of these energy centers, as well as, inspired commentary to help assess where your blocks are and how to transform them. For instance, the Navel Center or Manipura Chakra (Wheel of Many Jewels) supplies energy which helps us sustain intent. The Heart Center or Anahata Chakra relates to compassion, expanded horizons, and going beyond, as in put your heart into it. This DVD is for all levels and conveniently chaptered to help you vary your workout or focus on those segments most relevant to the issues pending in your life. Modifications are given so that everyone can always participate. Long time yogis will find much new material to add to their yoga repertoire. This DVD also features great music by Tom Carden.

Rating: - a fantastic Kundalini experience
This past weekend I fell back in love with this set; from start to finish it really covers all the bases in terms of a great opening breath meditation, two amazing sets that can be done as one long class or separately if you like, and closing with wonderful meditation as always.

This is a very subtle DVD yet it is priceless for people which seek balance, clarity, to enhance awareness and bring peace to their life.
Unlike physical exercises these benefits are accumulative and build up over time - even after two years I feel that it opens gradually new levels. For anyone going through a time of transformation, test or is stuck in an emotional past this will support you noon else could.
More than words I recommend to experience these exercise for those who a ... Read More
Rating: - This will work you Head to Toe!
This starts with warmups, then you stand for Chakra 1 and do some leg strengthening(such as Archer Pose which is Warrior Pose Kundalini style, and Tree Pose with the balance on one leg at a time). Then you do Crow Pose which is squatting with Breath of Fire. Then you start Chakra 2 which focuses on opening the hip area. Then Chakra 3 involves some great core work that will get your abs burning. Chakra 4, and up ,involves opening up the upper back and chest and gives great arm work.

So, in one DVD you're getting fitness, life guidance, and spiritual uplift. Each time I do this I feel that something profound has happened on every level. This DVD also has great music and great commentary. It's a bit challenging but it gives you something to work towards. If you're reading ... Read More
