Rating:  - This will make a star out of you!
This is a great game. I have singstar for PS2 but this one is more fun. There are lots more songs and you can customize your singer which is a lot of fun. I do like that singstar has the actual videos but this is almost better because you can watch your avatar sing. Everyone in the family loves this one.

I chose to buy this version over the newer releases with downloadable capabilities because I do not like the American Idol show or judges. It has a lot of songs I recognize in the play list including "I'll Be" and also it has a similar game engine to Rock Band vocals which I enjoyed but wasn't willing to spend $ on to have my own. I planned on using the game in my Wii but I've also tried it in the game cube and it works just fine in both. I bought a microphone for my Wii to use with this game but ... Read More

I love this game! It is really fun but it would be nice if it had a few more cool songs.
The page on amazon selling this game is kind of deceptive because it seems like you need to buy the microphone separately, but the game actually comes with one. (You can use a second microphone to play duet mode if you want to.)

This is the grain of Karaoke Revolution. I truely wish they would make the new karaoke games this good. The characters are highly customizable, the song selection is good and there is a large range of challenges. Granted you have to be able to sing a little to enjoy the game, but its super fun for all people.
