I bought this monitor to use for digital photo work. I don't know if I just got a bad unit or what, but the colors were off, the brightness was weak, and the sharpness was simply TERRIBLE (even after much fiddling with the various settings). I guess if you want a good CRT for digital photo work, you need to lay down some serious cash. I sent this hunk of junk back and decided to go with an LCD for now. For the money this is a great monitor with accurate color. Don't be fooled however by the claims of being a flat screen (not to be confused with flat panel). It is actually a standard round screen with a flat piece of antireflective glass over it. I would not reccomend this monitor if image geometry is critical. It is a great bargain though if all you need is accurate color.

This monitor is excellent!!! Especially for the money. I am very pleased.

Below average quality product. I am a professional photographer. Onscreen color and contrast are very important in preparing images for print or web applications. Consistancy between monitors is also important.
I purchased two of these items in the hopes of having matching systems in our office. No way -- not only did they not come close to matching each other, but as stand alones they were very bad. I returned them both, and a third ordered from a local source.
