Rating: out of 5 stars - Everquest games
ok...I have been playing EQ for over 5 years. Now I'm backing off. SOE have changed lot in this game. Trust me..they changed it. If y'all like be in Raids alot then this the game is for you but be warned.....you will get lots of lags, no EXP plus you will help some folks with the stuff they need. You be lucky if get something out of this raid. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to get everyone round up for the raid. I am talking about almost the whole zone. Sheeze. I got real life to worry about. ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - EverQuest Dead, the guy above is crazy.
EQ is not dead. EQ is going and going and will keep going for many happy years. I've played it for days aswell, and its a great game, its compelling, and you'll be totally addicted. Dont believe in all this World of Warcraft rubbish, EverQuest is classic and with Dragons of Norrath, and now EQ2: The Bloodline Chronicles, I think SOE will be making enough money to buy out Blizzard. They should shut down World Of Warcraft. Buy this instantly if your a EQer, if not, buy EQ: Platinum. It's got all you need. ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Dragons of Norrath is a great enhancement of the game.
I think Dragons of Norrath is a great enhancement to EverQuest. It takes away many of the things that drive you nuts when play an otherwise engrossing game and allows you to focus more on the fun aspects of the game. The reason why I say this is because of the addition of the Guild Hall and Guild Lobby. The guild hall freezes the timer on all buffs. This is huge. One of the biggest problems with playing Everquest is getting a group together that is completely ready to play. Now your group can get the ... Read More

This is a very useful expansion to have. The Guild Lobby is invaluable, used for recovering your corpse, you can search for new guilds, or you can advertise your guild on the bulletin board. There's a handy Magus in there, giving you the ability to travel to various places in Norrath. Not to mention the in-game email system too.

In the Guild Hall, you can refresh your health and mana by using the healing pool, there's a bank, and there are some tradeskill equipment in there too, along with the ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Everquest is DEAD.
Everquest was great when it first came out. It was so addictive that some people even got a divorce to be able to play more. It took up hundres of hours of my free time and I had no regrets. However, that was over 5 years ago.

Today, with the release of World of Warcraft, many players have stopped playing Everquest. Populations on all servers are extremely low and guilds are having trouble recruiting people.

With that being said, this expansion is simply a waste of money. Dragon ... Read More
