The code reader I got was new and unused, but it was from very old stock.....it did not have any late model cars listed in the accompanying literature....but it worked fine. I am well-satisfied overall. It will definitely read the error codes and it is an excellent diagnosis tool. I would recommend it to anyone. I received the infamous "check engine" light on my 2001 Ford Mustang. I was having visions of a $500 diagnose/repair bill, so I thought I'd try and give it a shot at fixing it myself. I have a 2000 Subaru Outback that throws a CEL every so often. I've taken it to the shop and they told me it was the catalytic converter going bad. I need to replace the whole exhaust system eventually, but for now I bought the Actron CP9125 so I can check it out for myself and reset the code till I can put some money into it.
