Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: out of 5 stars - Best scanner I've owned
Title says it all. I use a Mac, so I can't speak to Windows drivers & utilities.

Rating: out of 5 stars - The perfect scanner-except for one thing
Evidently this is the perfect scanner for scanning lots of photos. Everyone here loves it, and it gets 4.5 stars. Exactly what I need. Oh, but one thing--Epson has discontinued it.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Surprisingly Good!
I've scanned a ton of photos already. I put them in the feeder and it actually does what it's supposed to! No problems yet. I have Win Vista so I had to download the update - but worked great. I was really hesitant to buy this cuz of the price, but it's great and definately worth it.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Love Epson scanners
I've upgraded over the years and have always bought Epson. I helped folks out with Canon and HP scanners and always come away feeling the Epson was a faster and more user friendly device for less money.

Rating: out of 5 stars - scan a bunch of photos with little effort
I have many photos and would like to scan them, but do not want to do one at a time on a flatbed scanner. So a while ago, I learned about (and purchased) the HP 5500c Scanjet Scanner. HP's product was junk, the "auto crop" feature was more like auto slop. The resulting image that HP produced included an area around the photo including a bunch of the scanner's mechanisms visible along with the desired image. totally useless.
