This game is OK, like if I did live back in the 80s I might of given this game a better review since when I play games I like them to be realy special. There were some flaws in this game like you can only buy one potion at once and to save you have to kill yourself like when I have to do something else I have to like get some enimies to kill me. Before anyone suspects that I am picking on Zelda, note that I am not! After looking at Evil Lincoln's review, I do agree that charging over 20 bucks for a retro game with same graphics and gameplay is wrong. Unlike Mario Allstars for SNES, Zelda never remade any games from the NES/SNES vaults until about a few years ago, and what pissed me off is that they did it, one at a time with sky-high prices. Rating:  - Classic game... but get it on your smartphone instead
First of all, I truly love this game! Obssessed about this game since the previews came out on the Nintendo Entertainment Club magazine (pre-nintendo power). Loved this game so much, and still rank it as one of my top games of all time. Having said all that, there is no reason to spend $30 on this game for the DS when you can download a NES emulator (smart nes is the one I use) and play it on your windows mobile 5 or 6 smartphone. One of my favorite NES games of all time. From the time it was originally released, it spent several years on the top 10 and top 100 favorite games. It remained on the list long after the snes was released.
