Rating: - This is a good CD
I think Megaherz is a great band for people who enjoy rock music in general. Its not too heavy, but heavy enough. Its alot of fun to rock out to and have fun with.
I would in no way compare this band to Rammstein. Megaherz, although German, is not nearly as hard as Rammstein. Megaherz has their own unique sound and music. I love all the songs.
Rating: - Deutsche Musik um Besten
Upon comparing this band with Rammstein as well as Oomph!!!, I would argue that these three bands all have their equal merits. Rammstein appeals to the soul with entertaining, poetic lyrics and nearly perfect fluency with riffs. Oomph!!! is comparable to Rammstein in that the flow is very similar and the main difference is the content of lyrics in the songs...in my opinion, Oomph is not as hardcore as Rammstein. Megaherz is unique for singing about God in many of their songs and for many songs in ... Read More
Rating: - Good, solid album
This is the American version of Megaherz's "Wer Bist Du?" album. Unfortunately it's the only one of their albums that's domestically made, which is why I chose to get this first instead of "Herzwerk II." I can't say I'm as impressed with this as with what I've heard from their other albums, but it's still a good album. The only problem is that Alexx chooses to rap for most of the album. And yes, I mean rap. I guess this album could be described as hip-hop metal, but in this case that's not a bad thing. ... Read More
Rating: - German Rock at it's best.
I love Rammstein, Oomph, Eisbrecher and now Megaherz. This is a great CD if you like any of these bands. My favorite song on the CD is Negitiv.
Rating: - Something different.
All this comparison to Rammstein just really doesn't do Megaherz justice. They're a German group, and they play Hard Rock/Metal. That's where the similarity ends. Megaherz mixes things up with some heavily Industrial/Electronica songs, and some based entirely around the guitar. Alexx is very quiet and sinister in his vocals throughout the cd; not really comparable to Till Lindemann in the least. If you do like Rammstein, or are just looking for something new and interesting to listen to, give Megaherz ... Read More
