Editorial Review: Confront a malevolent force that threatens the future of the world in Lost Kingdoms, the first real-time action RPG for the Nintendo GameCube. Players experience the game through the eyes of a beautiful heroine, Princess Katia, on a quest to rid the land of a deadly menace intent on engulfing the five Kingdoms of Argwyll. During the adventure, you must find and gather the cards that hold the power to unleash incredible creatures into battle while fighting off the endless hordes of monsters that stand in your way. Throughout the game, players will explore more than two dozen graphically rich 3-D worlds as they uncover the mystery that threatens to destroy the five Kingdoms of Argwyll. Along the way, gamers have the opportunity to collect more than 100 unique Guardian Cards that can be used to release powerful creature allies such as fighting skeletons, ravaging wolves, and fire-breathing dragons. Each creature has its own special attack moves, which increase in range and power as Katia gains experience. In addition to the single-player story mode, players can take on friends in two-player versus mode, pitting the creatures in their Guardian Card collections against one another in a battle to the finish.

Rating: - a game thats incredibly underated
i dont care what people say this is one of the most underated game ever and for something so good thats a real shame.I remember the day i got this game and at the time it was my favoroute and remains to this day an incredibly underated game.i have no idea what some of the other revewiers are saying the games gameplay is really good and the controls are easy and only the most pathetic gamers would have trouble adapting to it.look this game deserves a 5 star average enough.
Rating: - pretty good and pretty short
Okay, I got this at blockbuster and was imediatly adicted (I always am when I get a new game). the gameplay was really good at first, but then I noticed that you run out of cards really fast and there's no way to get them back (Untill you get a cetain card) I found that extremly frustrating.
Also, the controls are confusing at first then easy, after that the actual gameplay becomes confusing, with all the figuring out what card is what just by looking at a confusing picture.

Rating: - A Let Down
I would like to start by saying that this game is by no means the hardest game you'll ever come across. The battle system can be a bit confusing and they lack clarity when explaining it to some extent. It is a difficult game but nothing overly hard. The game's real downfalls are its graphics and music. The background music will get old fast. After an hour you'll want to hurl your gamecube into a wall. The graphics, while some think otherwise, aren't that great. The game does not use the gamecube's ... Read More
