I really did not know much about this vocalist/songwriter until I heard this single. I quickly became a fan of hers. She has a charismatic, strong, smooth voice that is distinctive. Rating: - Suprisingly Very Good!!!!
I am by no means a Debbie Gibson fan, but this song is actually very good! Much better than anything else I've heard from her. Is a good pop/r&b song. Unfortunately, the single didn't get the airplay it deserved, I guess because DJ's didn't take the one time teen queen seriously. They didn't want to adknowledge the fact that she is now a grown woman and her music is more mature- not the bubblegum stuff she did in the 80's.

This single is great and so is her new album "MYOB." Get it. Get it all. WHAT YOU WANT is an agressive pop/r&b track that reminds me of NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye." If you like that song, then BUY BUY BUY this single... and her album. It's killer!
