The second volume of music from Dawson's Creek features another eclectic mix of the evocative tunes that made the WB show such a hit. That includes Jessica Simpson's "I Think I'm in Love," Five for Fighting's "Superman," and Shawn Colvin's "Never Saw Blue Like That." The closer is "Daydream Believer," the beautiful acoustic version sung by frequent DC artist Mary Beth Maziarz that proved critical in season 3. Not included on either of the two DC soundtrack albums is Beth Nielsen Chapman's extremely moving "Say Goodnight," which was heard in both the first-season finale and in the series finale. --David Horiuchi

Rating: out of 5 stars - Song at the end of Series Finale
The song at the end of the show was called "Say Goodnight" by Beth Nielson Chapman. I bought it on iTunes. Isn't it so perfect? It really fits the end of the series with the montage.

I was so sad to see Dawson's Creek come to an end. Let's just add another CSI show to take it's place...just kidding. There aren't enough shows like this on tv anymore. Joan of Arcadia is practically the only decent family show on tv and even it's dangerously close to cancellation.

Rating: out of 5 stars - That "say goodbye say goodnight" song is...
...entitled "Don't Say Goodbye, Say Good Night" by Binocular...excellent song no?

Gotta love this cd...especially Spledor's "I Think God Can Explain"....the PERFECT heartbreak song! :)

Rating: out of 5 stars - A huge dawson's creek fan
This is a great cd, with a really nice mixture of songs. I don't own it, i've only heard it once, but that one time was enough for me to want to buy it. The show is brilliant, it's so sad that it's over...
there is this one song that they play in the last episode, in the last few minutes. I think it's called "say goodnight not goodbye". It is played with a montage of different flashbacks from seasons past. I really love the song, so if anyone knows the name and singer, it would be helpful...

Rating: out of 5 stars - Great music for DC fans and non fans....
I am not a big fan of Dawson's Creek but i have seen a few episodes off and on through the years. I was always impressed by the music featured throughout the show and this CD is a great compliation of that music- along with volume 1.
What I like most about these types of CD's, is that it features a variety of songs/styles and singers. It is nice to be exposed to singers and groups that you may have never listened to before.
Featured in this CD are pop, blues, country etc--
