"War Dawn"
The Aerialbots are trapped 9 million years in the past when Optimus Prime destroys Megatron's time travel machine. Silverbolt and his Aerialbot buddies end up on Cybertron. It's a planet of great beauty and peace, but soon Megatron and his Decepticons rear their evil heads and war breaks out. While battling the Decepticons, Silverbolt meets Orion Pax, a robot of great honor who, unbeknownst to him, will one day become Cybertron's greatest hero: Optimus Prime. Back in the present, Optimus is devising a plan to repair Megatron's time travel machine long enough to rescue his pals, but the Decepticons won't go away without a fight. They've rebuilt an indestructible Guardian robot against who the Autobots seem powerless. There's only one thing left to do before time runs out for Silverbolt and his buddies: call on Superion, the Autobot giant.
"Forever Is a Long Time Coming"
Autobot slave masters, the Quintessons, are back! They've opened a rift in time, and it's up to Rewind, Superion, and Ramhorn to find out why. Before that happens, Rewind and his friends are attacked by an army of Sharkticons, and five Autobots are sent into the past. Rodimus Prime doesn't know what to do. His chief science officer, Perceptor, is out of commission, and time ripples are starting to warp reality. The Quintessons call a truce long enough to reveal that if they're not allowed to shut down their time machine soon, its effects will destroy the entire universe. Rodimus Prime will have to make the toughest decision of his life, and time's running out quickly.

It features the Origin of Optimus Prime and the first meeting between Optimus Prime and Megatron! It also tells about Cyberton's past during the Golden Age when the planet had energy. This features the Guardian Robots the Omega Supreme like Robots that guarded Cybertron from the Decepticons long before the Autobots existed. It also tells How Alpha Trion Created Optimus Prime! ... Rating: out of 5 stars - The History of the Transformers Explained
I'm not just giving this 5 stars because it's Transformers...I'm giving it 5 stars because these are two of the best Transformers episodes! I was excited to find them both on the same tape and they tie in so nicely!
Both episodes deal with Autobots going back in time to witness the start of the Autobot/Decepticon war and the beginnings of the Autobot slave revolt against the Quintessons. The Aerialbots and Alpha Trion also make appearances in both episodes.
"War Dawn" is great ... Read More
