Editorial Review: Issues are one thing Korn singer Jonathan Davis has in spades. On the quintet's fourth album, Davis spews forth about misery, hate, happiness, pain, paranoia, and other primal issues, all set to an appropriately dark soundtrack. From "Dead" (which begins with Davis's trademark bagpipes in a sort of choral musical setting), to the first single, "Falling Away from Me," the vocalist's quavery, edgy, manic delivery sets the tone for this 16-song outing. Not as modern sounding or melodic as 1998's Follow the Leader, Issues is a throwback to earlier, more metallic Korn. If possible, Issues has an even creepier vibe than its three predecessors, thanks partially to eerie guitar lines and vocal effects, especially potent on "Let's Get This Party Started." Twisted, cohesive, and epic, Issues comes through for Korn's fans, who relate to the band's cathartic musical exorcisms and aggro, bottom-heavy rage, commercialism be damned. (Please note: You may receive any one of the album's four different covers.) --Katherine Turman

Rating: - Another excellent album by my favorite heavy metal band
I was interested in this CD and picked it up at an FYE store. I really like some of the tracks such as Let's get this party started, Falling away from me, and so on. I'm a big fan of Korn, I may not have posters or anything, but I love their music.
Rating: - rock amania

Rating: - There second best album, behind Untouchables
I really fell in love with korns music in early 1998, about 6 months before follow the leader came out. I remember being so pumped about the release of this cd, I even sent in a cover for their cover contest for the cd.
First off you have to remember korn jumped to mainstream success only about 15-16 months before this album came out and a lot change in their lives. Especially for Jon Davis, by the time they started writing this record he was kicking drugs and alcohol cold turkey and was battling ... Read More
Rating: - It may have a few issues but it's still a very strong addition to the KoRn discography...
I don't know if I'll ever understand why this album got so much flak by KoRn fans when it was first released. It is a very well constructed album that, in my opinion, is one of their finer moments. There are definite signs of filler here and some tracks that are less than impressive but for the most part `Issues' delivers. Quite frankly with an album title like `Issues' you'd almost expect it to. As has been seen on every album produced by KoRn, issues are something that lead singer Jonathan Davis has ... Read More
