Rating: out of 5 stars - One of the best games of all time.
I've been playing games avidly since I was a small child back in the NES heyday. Out of all the many, many games I've played over the years there is something about this game that stands out as one of the very best. The story is one of the best in the Zelda franchise. The gameplay is highly addictive and doesn't require much of a learning curve. The graphics, for the time, where some of the very best out there and I still thinks it stands up today. This game is also quite big. It will take 12-15 ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Game is still great in 2008
Even in 2008 when we have PS3's and XBOXes, etc., this game is still very addictive. Doesn't have the graphics of more modern games, but is a fun RPG. There's definitely something to be said about doing things old school!

This game brings back so many awesome memories from my childhood. When it comes to video games, especially Zelda games, this game, to me, is the staple that opened the entire series to have excellent and amazing story lines. Now if they could just get the Zelda timeline strait, then we would be golden.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Nothing less than the best game in the world.
Link's third adventure, "A Link to the Past", is, in a word, mindblowing. It's still the longest 2D Zelda game to date - and, quite frankly, the best. Everything about this game is perfect, from stunning graphics to excellent music.

This, my friends, Is the best game ever created.

Rating: out of 5 stars - GREATEST EVER!
Yes the graphics are 16bit. But they hold up so well. OoT looks dated and is almost non-playable amongst the newer standards of the next gen 3d graphics (the draw distances are terrible). But LttP was and is at the fore front of sprite based games and is a hoot not only for nostaglia but also something I will offer to future generations of gamers as a true classic. What great story, and twists, and fun gameplay. Like a favorite moview that you cherish and want to relive, I take my time to enjoy each ... Read More
