A third in the new David Lee Roth remasters series from Friday Music, the 1994 epic Your Filthy Little Mouth is often regarded as his most enduring, introspective and top album choice amongst his most ardent fans. For some crazy reason, this highly collectable cd has been out-of-print for over a decade...... but that is all fixed now. Friday Music is now offering Your Filthy Little Mouth again. This time with a wonderful remastering by Joe Reagoso, restored artwork and lyrics, which maintain the integrity and spirit of the original rock masterpiece.
"She's My Machine" and "Everybody's Got The Monkey" were huge radio favorites as this Nile Rodgers produced collection continues the rugged pace with twelve more incredible performances. Outlaw rocker Travis Tritt even gets a blues rockin' duet with David on "Cheatin' Heart Café".
Surprises continue with the jazz fusion undertones on "Sunburn" and "Experience", which have gone on to become some of his more enduring tunes. No doubt about it Your Filthy Little Mouth charted new heights for DLR. As always, his musician pool is fit for a king- Terry Kilgore (guitar), John Regan (bass), Tony Beard (drums), plus Steve Hunter ( guitar) makes an appearance on the soulful "A Little Luck", plus the keyboard wizardry of Richard Hilton rounds out most of the elite players on this collection.
Your Filthy Little Mouth is back....restored artwork, complete lyrics and photos, nice remastering....this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee's truly delivered the goods on this one folks.... Enjoy!

Rating: out of 5 stars - I bet you didn't know Dave is this versatile!
Your Filthy Little Mouth is one of David Lee Roth's best solo albums. The two things that really make it distinctive are the wide variety of musical styles and the excellent lyrics. Dave plays rock, soul, country, reggae and more - and plays each style in superior fashion. This CD has Dave's best lyrics ever, only DLR Band even comes close. The CD has some of Dave's most memorable tunes. I get songs from this CD stuck in my head more often than any other CD Dave has made. The best songs are ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - You're breathin' it
This is good solid Dave music. Not his best album, but far from his worst. You can put this on and people will have a good time. You can't go too wrong with Diamond Dave. Too bad it didn't work out with VH the first time around. Maybe we'll get lucky this time and it'll work out for them this time. Much as I love DLRs solo stuff, he was at his best with Van Halen.

Rating: out of 5 stars - DLR never dissapoints!
Great variety of music here fro the finest rock/metal singer of all time. This guy gets more amazing with every release.

Rating: out of 5 stars - ROTH & ROLL!!
When this album came out back in 1994, It was the first mainly blues album DAVE had done as a solo artist.
Everyone was uses to DAVE doing kinda like party rock.
So all the people that couldn't require the taste change, kinda wrote DAVE off as he was getting to old.
But DAVE was just trying different styles of rock and the normal Rock listeners couldn't require the different changes of taste in his music.
It's not so much that DAVE couldn't keep up the with world, as much as ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Dave doesn't get enough credit.
I agree with the other reviewers; this is some of Dave's best work. The album is over 10 years old and I still listen to it. I figure if Dave had left the F-word out of "Land's Edge" and the title track, he could have had two good rock radio hits. "Sunburn" is an excellent, smooth song, and "Night Life" is a good remake of Willie Nelson's song. I like the variety of the album, like "No big 'Ting" and the two versions of "You're Breathin' It". Dave doesn't get enough credit. If you like this album, ... Read More
