Rating: out of 5 stars - Solid Sampler of 1980's Pop Music
I went to high school from 1982-1985, and I used to despise this music as empty and shallow. I preferred the raw rock and roll of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and especially Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.

But music tastes change, and now, the music from this era sounds amazingly better than I remember it. This nostalgic 80's cd contains 15 well known hits of the decade, including "We've Got the Beat" by the Go-Gos, "The Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats, "Cars," by Gar Numan, "867 ... Read More

Some selections are a bit obscure, and aren't as big hits as others. That is what makes the album so great. You'll find a few songs here that you may not have heard in a long time.
Put it on and take a stroll ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Hooray for the 80's
I just got this CD and I adore it. There is nothing that the 80's can't cure. Hooray, I say, hooray for the 80's.
