When I first purchased this CD, i got it from some second hand CD shop, not knowing how difficult this cd really is to find. When you listen to it, the pictureeque beauty of the soundtrack becomes evident. James Horner is simply the most briliant composer out there today. Williams has lost it and Goldsmith's music has no heart. I prime example of why Horner is igenius, is in this score. The score has a icy and majestic sound which is just magical. It sends me to a beautiful place of ice and snowscapes.
