Rating: out of 5 stars - Flowers, candy, and Barry White! They'll work every time!
Unbeknowst to me at the time of the album's release, it came with a choice of two covers: a dark sable fur picture or a lighter-colored one (I got the former). Rating: out of 5 stars - The Maestro at his best in a while!
The quality of BW's albums had come into serious doubt by 1976.This album and the album that came after it,"The Man", show BW at his best since "I've Got So Much To Give".This album has it all.It starts out with "Playing Your Game,Baby" and goes directly into "It's Ecstacy"."You're So Good,You're Bad","I Never Thought I'd Fall In Love You" and a classic BW slow jam in "You Turned My Whole World Around".Add the all-time BW standard "Oh What A Night For Dancing" and you have a classic BW album!

His 7th album 'Barry White Sings For Someone You Love' is yet another great example of the musical genius and originality of The Man. The opening 'Playing Your Game, Baby' is pure FIRE- it features ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - One of Barry's Best
This album captured the essence of why Barry White was a key figure in the Disco years 1974-1979. Its Ectasy and Playing your game have been sampled by artists such as Mary J. Blige and Ashanti.
