Editorial Review: Donald Duck's nephews learn why holidays come once a year, Goofy and son discover the spirit of Santa, and Mickey and Minnie reenact a classic tale of giving in this all-new holiday offering. Kelsey Grammer (TV's Frasier) narrates as Donald hosts Christmas at his house, complete with an egg and pancake breakfast, a sled for each duckling in the closet, and Daisy under the mistletoe. But the celebration gets old fast when the boys' wish for Christmas every day comes true. Next up, Goofy's son wonders whether there is a Santa after the villainous Pete tells him there's not and he catches Dad impersonating the portly gift-giver. Goofy demonstrates the spirit of giving by taking a meal and presents to less-fortunate neighbors, and many Goofy-style mishaps later, father and son have a surprise visitor. In the third story, the mouse lovebirds give an updated spin to O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi," with Minnie having the heirloom watch with no chain and Mickey a harmonica with no case. This trio of Christmas stories adds up to an hour of heartfelt fun, capped off by the gang singing "Jingle Bells." Perfect holiday cheer for those 4 and up. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Rating: - Mickey's Christmas...a must!
I love this movie! My kids do too. You can't have christmas without a good christmas movie and this one is at the top of our list every year!
Rating: - Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas
My son and I have had the Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas for a couple of years now and he loves to watch it at Christmas time. I wanted to get the first one so that we would have both of them. My son and I love it. He's 3 years old and he loves Disney characters, especially Mickey Mouse, as I do. It was just such a cute movie. We really like it.
Rating: - Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas
This is great for children I think. However, my daughter 26 years of age raved about it so thought I had to have it. I was pretty disappointed from an adult's point of view but like I said, the grandkids love it.
Rating: - Excellent DVD
Excellent DVD for Christmas, great for young kids and family.
The animation is excellent.
Rating: - Loud, Jumbled and Often Mean!
I watched this with my 4 year old and was amazed at the speed and jumble of action, as well as the downright meanness of some of the characters.
OK, now that I have little ones perhaps I am more sensitive to such points than I used to be. But do we really need Pete swindling a poor family, stealing Mickey's money and an entire Christmas tree lot going up in flames in a Christmas story?
And do we also need Pete to plant the seed of Santa disbelief in the Goofy and Son section? ... Read More
