This movie was an intentional mockery of all the 80s comedies about nerdy guys getting the girls. Disgruntled nerd/trekkie/ex-postal worker who reviewed it and gave it one star clearly doesn't have the brain or sense of humor to get the joke--not to mention they've got REBECCA OF SUNNYBROOK FARM on their wish list!
A very funny, under-rated little gem.

"Body Waves" is a 1992 movie that comes across as an '80s leftover. Rick is a young man who tries to be an entrepreneur. Him and his buddy buy cases and cases of suntan lotion. They try and sell the lotion at the beach but nobody's buying. Rick stumbles across a trio of nerds who decide that they will pay him a bunch of money if he teaches them how to be desirable to the opposite sex. You can see where this is going, right?
