Editorial Review: Get shot in the head and become a better person. This 1991 Mike Nichols (Wolf) film stars Harrison Ford as a big-shot cold-hearted lawyer who gets a bullet in his brain during a holdup. The film de-emphasizes the traumas of recovery to focus on the title character's personality change after the fact. The canny Ford gets to work from his full, familiar palette of arrogance to boyishness, and even builds Henry from top to bottom after the wounded fellow awakens with no memory. But this is a slow and unremarkable film from Nichols, its sentimentality eclipsing all else, most of all profound insight. --Tom Keogh

Rating: - great movie
I liked this movie as much now as I did when I originally watched it. I purchased it to watch with my daughter and she too enjoyed it. I think that Harrison Ford did an excellent job.
Rating: - Regarding Henry
Touching movie. Makes you appreciate your life more. Shows that life can change in a second. Teaches you that something great can come from something terrible.
Rating: - Regardomg Henry
REGARDING HENRY is fabulous in showcasing the variety of roles Harrison Ford has successfully done. It's endearing and human and something that could happen to any family. Annette Benning is her usual fabulous self.
Rating: - Just OK
Solid performances by Harrison Ford and Annette Bening prevent this movie from becoming cheap melodrama, but the actors are unable to rise above a screenplay that's a little too sweet for its own good. The directing is unremarkable, a surprise coming from someone as talented as Mike Nichols.
Rating: - Surprisely good.
Regarding Henry was panned by the critcs but loved by audiences. This film is touching, straight to the point, and interesting from start to finish. This is still Harrison Ford's best performance and Annette Bening is such an under-rated actress, she is good in everything. Kinda shocked to find out this film was written by J.J. Abrams and directed by Mike Nichols. I highly recommend checking this hidden gem out, enjoy!
