Editorial Review: Jim Marrs presents the official government pronouncement on 9/11 as an obvious conspiracy. The only question is whose conspiracy it was. According to the government, the conspiracy involved about nineteen suicidal Middle Eastern Muslim terrorists, their hearts full of hatred for American freedom and democracy, who hijacked four airliners, crashing two into the Twin Towers of New York City's World Trade Center and a third into the Pentagon, near Washington, DC. The fourth airliner reportedly crashed in western Pennsylvania after passengers attempted to overcome the hijackers. To add insult to injury, this whole incredible Mission Impossible operation, which defeated a forty-billion-dollar defense system, was under the total control of a devout Muslim cleric using a computer while hiding in a cave in Afghanistan. Primarily using mainstream media and government reports, Marrs has crafted the definitive journalistic account exposing the likely complicity of the Bush administration in the 9/11 attacks, providing a history of the overt and covert causes of the events. However, his analysis goes far beyond 9/11, enabling us to understand the motivation behind American foreign policy, with the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as primary examples of the US government's secret agenda.

Rating: - Entertaining and far fetched...
This book brings up some good points, and points out inconsistancies in the "official" story, but it also has tons of speculative and far fetched ideas about "the Establishment". That was the part I found entertaining. It killed some time and kept me interested only long enough to clear my head and think for myself again. Read this for the entertainment value and not as the Gospel truth. Nice try Mr. Marrs...
Rating: - COMPREHENSIVE, DETAILED, AND VERY READABLE
This is an excellent book for the beginning "thinker" who is just now waking up to what's going on in the American Empire. Jim Marrs knew from day one that the 9/11 attacks were just another "false flag" terror event orchestrated by the secret societies who control Washington. He details all the phases, all the elements, all the areas of suspicion enroute to tying it all together with a historical context in the final part of the book. My favorite part of the book is near the end where the discussion ... Read More
Rating: - Mysteries Magazine review
Jim Marrs is an investigative reporter who specializes in conspiracies. The Terror Conspiracy summarizes many of the suspicions about the U.S. government that have been around almost since 9/11 occurred, such as what did the Bush administration know and when, what actually happened at the Pentagon and at the World Trade Center, and what really happened to Flight 93. He also describes the Bush family involvement with the Saudi royal family. But for Marrs, the real conspiracy involves a government control ... Read More
Rating: - The Terror Is The Conspiracy!!!
Jim Marrs' book is a great installment for anyone still interested in the 9/11-truth movement. Marrs manages to gather a plethora of evidence from news sources, books, media, Internet, and documentation, which points directly to the culprits that should have been charged for committing the 9/11 atrocities in the first place.
Marrs' book seems to read like an amalgamation of Seymour Hersh's "Chain of Command" and Webster Griffen Tarpley's "911 Synthetic Terror." Both arguments that Tarpley and Hersh ... Read More
