There are 300 problem-oriented Board-type multiple choice questions which are divided according to content area (based upon testing board content outlines), with answers, rationales and a reference list.The book has been developed primarily to enhance your test-taking skills while also integrating the principles (becoming test wise), of test taking found in the "Test Taking Strategies and Skills" chapters of the "Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification Revidw Guide" and the "Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Reviw and Clinical Reference Guide" published by Health Leadership associates. These review guides in addition to the review courses and home study programs provide a comprehensive and total approach to success in the examination process. They enable the users of these materials to be successful in the test taking process. Every effort has been made to develop sample questions that are representative of the types of questions that may be found on the certification examination, however, style and format of the examination may differ.

This is a great study book and in excellent condition. Many have passed certification using this book!!

This works well for the person reviewing for the boards in part because the answers include rationales as well as reasons other answers are not correct. Great in conjuction with review materials to reinforce test taking strategies.
