This was a pretty good book to read with a good plot line that was not all about the sex. It was pretty close to being realistic as far as how people see interracial relationships in today's society.

It is the one-year anniversary of her husband's death. Charlie Brown is at a downtown bar drowning her sorrows, hoping against all hope that her pain will go away; at least for one night. Many whiskeys later, the bartender advises her to get a room at the hotel next door. Charlie is a bit too tipsy to argue with him and decides that a hotel room sounds more appealing than going home to her empty home.

Loved this book. Apart from the fact that it had hot, sizzling sex, it as a good story and was very well told. I love Charlie and Jake and how the entire story went down. Charlie was wrong for not letting Jake know about his daughter, even after they found each other again; she had ample time to tell him but did not.
All in all, I loved the book. Another good write by Ms. Vaughn.

This book was a page turner. I enjoyed reading as the relationship between Jake and Charlie unfolded. Although Charlie was attracted to Jake she was determined to do whatever necessary to keep her secret. What would Jake do or how would he feel about Charlie if he knew her secret? I was on the edge my seat reading this book. The story line was great, the characters rich and believable. Thanks Eve Vaughn!!

I throughly enjoyed the book. I am open to interracial relationships and this was interesting. However, nothing in life comes easy. Especially Love.
