Editorial Review:An engaging book that brings new relevance to the old proverb “Give and you shall receive” The Go-Giver tells the story of an ambitious young man named Joe who yearns for success. Joe is a true go-getter, though sometimes he feels as if the harder and faster he works, the further away his goals seem to be. And so one day, desperate to land a key sale at the end of a bad quarter, he seeks advice from the enigmatic Pindar, a legendary consultant referred to by his many devotees simply as the Chairman. Over the next week, Pindar introduces Joe to a series of “go-givers:” a restaurateur, a CEO, a financial adviser, a real estate broker, and the “Connector,” who brought them all together. Pindar’s friends share with Joe the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success and teach him how to open himself up to the power of giving. Joe learns that changing his focus from getting to giving—putting others’ interests first and continually adding value to their lives—ultimately leads to unexpected returns. Imparted with wit and grace, The Go-Giver is a heartwarming and inspiring tale that brings new relevance to the old proverb “Give and you shall receive.”

A must read and attempt to put into practice, even for the non-business owner people, to the best of our abilities. If everyone adopted this concept we'd all live in a better place, be better people, and live the way I think God intended us to live.

Go-Giver is one of those books that becomes part of the fabric of how you do business. As an avid reader of business books for two decades, this one took me by surprise. Written as a short story, the base of this powerful, targeted message is that to reach stratospheric success, one needs to give. Every page holds stories, little gems of valuable information that draw you in and hold your undivided attention from page one. The Go Giver is not just the way to do business, it's the way to do life! ... Read More

This is a sweet little book that is a quick read. Somewhere in the pages, you'll find yourself wanting and yearning to give back to someone else. Even if you're cynical about the method, you'll want to test the theories. My suggestion is to try to hide the astonishment on your face when you discover that the answer really is to give.

I am rarely moved by the recycling of business maxims and often wonder, is there anything new under the sun? "The Go-Giver" is a brilliant little story with an age-old moral that really will change your life and the lives of those you touch for the better.
