I have been trying to convince my mother that low-carb dieting isn't the way she should try to lose weight. When I saw the title of this audiobook, I was excited thinking that I found something that would explain the pitfalls and fallacies of shunning carbs. I decided to listen to it first so that I would have the facts at my disposal. I'm sure glad I did. The entire book is merely an advertisement for Dr. Sears Zone diet and fish oil pills....which, surprise!, he sells.

I have read dozens of books on dieting, health, nutrition and excercise. When I saw the TITLE of this audiobook, it caught my eye. I like to stay informed, and I did not know much about Dr. Barry Sears. So I bought it and listened to it. I was very disappointed. Rather than an informative and accurate rebuttal of low-carb diets, I found that at least 75% of the time in this audiobook was devoted to selling Dr. Sears new highly processed fish oil, which purportedly has all of the mercury removed. ...
