Rating: - Zagat Survey Does The Job
The Zagat survey is a fairly comprehensive restaurant guide to Los Angeles. It is also pretty accurate in terms of price and food quality. I've been to a few of the restaurants in the survey and the review was pretty much right on. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants in here to satisfy any craving.

Rating: - A Good Starting Point For L.A. Dining
Every year I pick-up a new copy of the latest Zagat. A good starting point, but many locals probably feel the same as I, that many other less known favorites are consistently left out. But this book is helpful, and I thank the authors for their continued work in this area.

There seem to be enough reviews, judging from individual comments included, to average out the comments from someone who was there on a "bad night" with those who were there on "average nights" and "great nights."
If you are looking for the kind of reviews that food critics give, discussing the merits (and demerits)of ... Read More
