I undertook a two-year very brutal drug treatment for HCV, and was recently miraculously cleared of the disease. There were times I felt like giving up, but relied again and again on the encouraging information I gleaned from this book. It is informative, well-written, and emotionally supportive. Excellent book full of vital information. I'm so happy someone is getting the word out about treatment with Acupuncture and Chinese herbs! Dolan doesn't capitalize on the lack of treatment for Hep C by writing herbal treatments you can try at home. He emphasizes the need for a well trained herbalist. This is very important.
