This little book has some useful information in it, and a lot of recipes. Almost all of the recipes, however, depend upon special, expensive, mail order ingredients. I believe it is possible to make low-protein meals without such ingredients. In making bread, for instance, I mix in 0 protein tapioca starch (from the oriental food market) and white cornmeal. The bread you get isn't Wonder Bread, to be sure, but it has about half the protein content of commercial bread and it tastes pretty good. ... Read More
