Editorial Review: Nine years ago, Faerie Magic saved Mairi MacKiernan at the cost of her dreams of happiness, snatching her from her life in 1272, and depositing her in the twenty-first century. Now, she must save the last Daughter of the MacKiernan family...who was murdered in 1295. Transported back in time at her request, Mairi finds herself captured by the same evil men as before! Is this the price the Faerie Magic requires of her this time? Ramos Servans has dedicated his dreams to service as a Guardian, but when he discovers the evil unleashed on the Mortal Plain by his father and their people, he swears he will atone by ridding the world of Nuadian deceit. Part of his mission involves rescuing a lovely Highland lassie, and in the passion that grows between them, Ramos and Mairi find a new dream. But falling in love can be dangerous when Faerie Magic is involved. Dreams may not be the only cost....

Rating: - Good, But Not as Good as the First 2
I loved the 1st. 2 Daughter's of the Glen books Melissa Mayhue. This 3rd. in the series was lacking, and not as good. Still it wasn't dreadful and I will read more of her books when she comes out with them.
Rating: - Great read!
Another Great read! I really am enjoying this author. I read the book coverto cover with no complaints. Fun and enjoyable, I can't wait for the next one.
Rating: - Disappointed
I had eagerly awaited reading this book, and just finished it. Sadly, I was very disappointed. I had read Highland Guardian first, and really liked it - it turned me on to the genre. I next read Thirty Nights with a Highland Husband (which was actually the first in the series) and enjoyed it immensely, too - especially since there were distict differences, yet both flowed together. This book, in comparison to the other two, is not nearly as: 1) intriguing or 2)romantic. While the others were ... Read More
Rating: - Another awesome book by Melissa Mayhue...
I enjoyed this one almost as much as the first. I did enjoy it more than the second book. I thought Mairi & Ramos had great chemistry together! I made myself only read about 50 pages a day-just to make it last longer, but thought about it all day long. That's the making of a great book isn't it?-thinking about it all day long when you're not reading it! I enjoy how she brings in the characters from the first two books, all the while adding more characters, possibly to fit into her next book. (which ... Read More
Rating: - Another fantastic read by Melissa Mayhue
This is yet another fantastic read... the third of the series, the hero, Ramos Servans was introduced in the previous novel, as a yummy bad boy turned good.
He was definitely just as yummy in this novel, with a macho streak that makes you want one of your own!
The heroine is a pretty little time-traveler who is somehow feisty and demure at the same time.
The chemistry between the two takes a little while to build up, but when it does, it boils through the rest of ... Read More
