As an Anatomy Masters student, I highly recommend Netters for anyone who is taking an advanced anatomy course especially graduate students and medical students. This book has wonderfully detailed pictures that aid in your studying, and the online Netters is riddled with study hints, image downloads and has really improved my study guide capabilities. This text has quality, picture that will help you understand gross anatomy. If you want a clinical atlas this is not the one for you. It does have the MRI's, CT etc. However, it does the the job for the student and helps for provide a greater understanding of gross anatomy.

It's got fully detailed and realistic drawings.Helps get your bearings on human anatomy and it's sections and layers helps you to get to know exactly what you need. Easy to understand beautifully drew. The 2006 edition includes new drawings from his "aprentices" specially Carlos Machado,and new clinical cases,x-rays,etc. if you intend to buy a netter, and you wonder if it's worth buying a 2004 you better save some money which you won't regret. Yes, this book is more expensive than most other anatomy books. Is it worth the price? Absolutely. It was invaluable when I was in medical school, and I strongly recommend this to current medical students. Without question, the best anatomy book out there.
