I wanted to pass the NCLEX the first time I did it. So I got this book to help and yes it did. There were more strategies in this book compared to other books or internet resources I used. For example, one of my weaknesses was answering medication questions. this book has a chapter dedicated to answering pharmacology questions. I reviewed the book a month before practicing any questions and the night before taking the NCLEX to make sure I used the strategies well.

I failed my first RN exam on July, 2007. Since the failure, I began to use Saunders Strategies for Success for the NCLEX-RN, and luckly but not surprisingly, I passed the exam only 77 questions after 3 months, without using Kaplan's materials.

This book is written for elementary students. Don't waste your money.

I wish I had started reading this book at the beginning of nursing school. It would have been useful to help me figure out how to answer questions. My understanding has improved 100-fold since getting this book. I feel more and more confident with my tests and less anxious about taking the NCLEX once I graduate in May

This is by far the best review book I have come across. I just passed the NCLEX RN on my third try after reading Linda's book cover to cover twice. On my first two attempts, I had not heard about her book yet. Her strategies and hints are totally on the level, understandable, and there's no little games or tricks involved.
