Rating: - Rebirth of a Hero
"Green Lantern: Rebirth" tells the story of how Hal Jordan returns from the dead. the writing is superb and Johns' succeeds in explaining how things happened that have been unanswered for so long such as why the Green Lanterns rings have the "yellow impurity". Van Schiver's art is some of the best that I have seen, all of the charecters and landscapes look photo -realistic but still have a "comic-book" like feel to it. I reccamend to all.

Hal Jordan.

Geoff Johns is going to go down as one of the greatest writers in the history of the Green Lantern character. This is part one of his three part grand scheme for the characters of the Corps. The triology is continued in Sinestro Corps and will be concluded in Blackest Night which is expected to hit Shelves in 2009. In Rebirth we see Hal Jordan, the quintessential Green Lantern brought back from the dead. Then through the course of the trade Johns gives a recollection of all the major events in Green ...
