Rating: out of 5 stars - Unbelievably funny
This is without a doubt the funniest book I have ever read, and one of the funniest...THINGS I've ever checked out. There is a joke in every sentence, sometimes 2 or 5 jokes. It's consistently laugh out loud hilarious. I look forward to reading it on the train ride home all day at work. Can't wait to check out the others! It really is like seeing a classic Simpsons episode in your head.

Personal favorite part is when he forces open the jaw of a woman named Cola to look at her teeth, ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Swartzwelder!
As with others I heard about this from the Simpsons commentary. Chances are if you bought this, you did the same, thus you will like the book. Thus I don't need to say much about it because it is full of pure Swartzweldian humour in book form.

It's stupid, it's silly, and it can be read in a single sitting. There isn't much more too it.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Laugh Out Loud Literature
After hearing of John's books through the Simpsons dvd sets I decided to order them up, I couldn't of been more pleased with the books. Easy quick reads and absolutley hilarious. If your a simpsons fan or just a fan of quirky humor buy it. I've never read something that made me laugh out loud or quote lines to my friends and family more often.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Enjoyable Read
This is a very demanding and thought provoking read you'll want to quote from for years to come. Actually, not really. It's more like a Simpsons episode, with an original character, set in book form. It's loaded with zany humor, often involving what the Simpsons crew has dubbed "flexible reality" and other cartoon-like flights from logic. That's a good thing if you're a Simpsons fan.

I'm giving this book four stars because, although it's a fun read, Swartzwelder's writing style can sometimes ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Amusing and at times ridiculously hysterical
"[I jumped out the booby-trapped car.] I was going over sixty at the time, but luckily I didn't hit the ground. There was a cliff there and I just went harmlessly over that. But just when you're sailing along, thinking everything is going to be okay, something unexpected comes along to jar you out of your complacency. For me, in this case, it was the bottom of the cliff."

I, like other reviewers, first heard of this book via the audio commentary on the Simpsons dvd's. Being a fan of Swartzwelder's ... Read More
