Why Beating Cancer with Nutrition is unique: The book was developed after working with over 500 cancer patients and organizing 3 international symposiums on the subject. This information helps cancer patients to improve quality and quantity of life. BCN had been translated into Japanese and Chinese and is being translated into Korean. BCN had become a home study continuing education course for registered nurses. BCN 2001 version will contain a 72-minute audio CD version in response to the requests from tired cancer patients who said they needed and audio version of the book to get started. BCN had sold 110,000 copies in 7 years in print, which is impressive for small publishers. Rating: out of 5 stars - Beating cancer with nutrition
"Beating cancer with Nutrition" is my bible as I fight colon cancer. I bought many cancer books after my diagnosis but this is the best one. Some of my friends who don't even have cancer have purchaseed it after looking thru it at my house. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Rating: out of 5 stars - If you have cancer, you MUST buy and read this book!
My name is Dr. Douglas Husbands ([...]) and I've been practicing holistic health care for about 2 decades. As a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Chiropractor and Functional Medicine health practitioner, I have many patients who seek my help for multiple health problems including cancer. I always recommend that any patient who has cancer purchase, read and immediately begin to implement the recommendations Dr. Quillin makes in his book. This is THE most excellent, straightforward, easy to read ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - Typical of American bad eating
The book was a big disappointment for me. It is a typical happy book about the awful way that Americans eat and encouraging more of the same..
Bad advise on diet and eating.

Rating: out of 5 stars - beating cancer with nitrition
Good review of pre-1999 literature. Well written and easy to follow. Needs updating badly.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Not useful
This book felt like something written in the style of the 1890s. It doesn't address the need to eat whatever will stay down. There are so many points of view on nutrition but the bottom line is to eat what one can eat.
