Rating: out of 5 stars - not up to date with modern cuisine
I ordered the book hoping to find some good recipes to use with my candida diet, which has been working really well. I tend not to cook on this diet since most recipes contain some ingredients that are not allowed. The reviews were favorable so I ordered the book. The recipes though are not appealing to me and seem to be really out of date. They don't reflect the almost 20 years since that have been such a renaissance for the culinady field. It Doesn't make use of any of the new, varied, ethnic ... Read More

Rating: out of 5 stars - The Candida Control Cookbook:What you Should Know and What You Should Eat to Manage Yeast Infections
This book is informative and gives a good idea of what to eat and not to eat. I appreciate the many recipes showing a variety of ways to prepare the limited foods we are allowed to eat during the die off period.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Informative Cookbook
This is a very informative cookbook. The recipes are the best I have found (and this is the third cookbook I have purchased). I wish I had known about using 100% pure vegetable glycerine as a sweetener months ago! Her recipes make you feel like you are eating "real" food again.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Continuing my story Managing my yeast infection
It has now been 3 months on the Candida Control Diet and taking Lamisil --- I have my life back! Thank you Gail Burton for writing a cookbook that is realistic and good. It has been my bible over the course of this. I am purchasing CANDIDA, The Silent Epidemic and hope it will help me with figuring out what to do to maintain my healthy lifestyle. 3 CHEERS! for this cookbook!

Rating: out of 5 stars - Anti Yeast Diet
This book has been a real help to me in my anti yeast adventure. I have been taking lamisil and following the diet for 3 weeks with great success. It is a roller coaster ride, but more ups than downs. The food is not the most tasty at times, but with so little choice it is hard. A favorite is the Oat and Orange Muffins (which I vary with different flavorings Raspberry is delicious!) -- they are simple to make, moist and freeze well. Also real good are the Rice Ball Cookies. This book is a must ... Read More
