Rating: out of 5 stars - Great for Med Students
This book is great for understanding bugs from a clinical perspective. It is concise enough to read easily, and thorough enough for the boards. I don't personally utilize mnemonics, but if you are someone who does, you'll find this book loaded with them, as well pictures and other memory devices.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Helpful - nothing more
This is a helpful book. I would not agree with the ridiculously positive view many of the reviewers have taken. Rating: out of 5 stars - Great book. Brand new condition. Thanks!!!
Very good thorough book for medical microbio. Great for study during course work and for board review.

I bought this book as a lecture supplement for medical school. This book is a great way to get introduced to the material (or to make sense of a disorganized lecturer). Simple? Well, that's a stretch, but it is consice and very well-organized. Concepts are explained well but without too much detail bogging you down. It has a lot of mnemonics, and some of the "rediculous" pictures are helpful. The summary charts (which bugs go with which drugs, etc) are also a great review/study tool. Overall, very ...
