Rating: out of 5 stars - Coping With Mild Traumatic Brain Injury
This is a must-have book for therapists, family members and the victim of TBI, as well. It is easy to read for layman, as well as most informative for the practicioner.

So many unusual incidents and behaviours are revealed to be "normal" TBI reactions to common occurances.

Read it. Have your patient read it. Have the patient's family read it. And order the workbook, too.

Rating: out of 5 stars - A "must read" for anyone who suffered a MTBI/Concussion
This book is vital for anyone who has suffered a Mild Traumatic Brain Injury because no one can truly understand these symptoms unless they personally experienced them themselves. Hats off to Dr. Stoler for all her efforts in putting this information together in an easy to read and understandable format. This book has helped me beyond words. I even bought a copy for my Primary Care Physician.

Rating: out of 5 stars - Excellent Resource
This is an excellent resource. After my car accident, no one explained to me what was happening with my head. All I was told was everyone is different and everyone recovers at their own pace. I highly recommend this book to friends, family and the injured person. It helps you realize that you are not going crazy and others have your same symptoms--even symptoms you didn't realize were due to the brain injury. The writers should receive an award for this book.

Rating: out of 5 stars - outdated
The factual material - including medical information and Internet resources - is largely outdated. In my opinion the book should be updated or removed from current printing. It seems unfair to sell health care consumers who seek information on treating brain injury with factual information that is not useful.

Take this book as an understanding of the sciences as they existed fifteen years ago.

Rating: out of 5 stars - TBI assessment
A necessity for anyone going through TBI or close to one who is. It really helps you understand what's going on with their situation, but isn't the elaborate, detailed medical that I would have liked. But get this anyway if you need it!
