Editorial Review: Two thumbs up for this fascinating guide to palmistry. It's a clear, concise, wonderfully designed, simple yet exhaustive examination of the self-knowledge to be found in the palm of your hand. A greater portion of the brain is dedicated to the functioning of the hands than any other part of the body, so it's easy to imagine why so much information about our personality and mental predispositions are to be found there. Reid takes the reader step by step through the process of palm reading with this accessible textbook jam-packed with glossy full-color illustrations, anatomical drawings, charts, palm prints, graphs, photographs, glossaries, and more. While a daily meditation practice will guide you deep into your interior motivations, in The Art of Hand Reading you'll find an amazing amount of self-wisdom instantly within your grasp. --P. Randall Cohan

Rating: - Actual Palms to interpret hand reading
I loved this book - I am more of a visual person so I enjoyed reading this book. Some new insights that I couldnt find in the other books I read
I have read - Idiots Guide to Palmistry and Everything about Palmistry however this book stands apart due to the actual pictures of the palm and interpretation.
Its not easy to imagine Ring of Solomon on a finger with black and white pictures drawn but this book due to the actual pictures of the palm made me understand how to find the markings ... Read More
Rating: - Visually helpful
I purchased this book because of the photos of actual hands. They are much more helpful than an artist's rendering of what lines look like on a hand.
Rating: - Excellent book with great pics
Often palmistry books get a bit skewed becoz of the poor quality pics. This book's main positive point is the clarity of the pictures it has. It makes understanding the lines and what they mean more easier and meaningful.
I would recommend this to any new beginners and experts as well.
Rating: - not bad, but lacks anything new
This is an OK run through the main points of palmistry. There isn't anything new here, though. Lots of the old tradtional stuff about marriage lines and things are here and it doesn't seem as if the writer has discovered anything you won't find in any palmistry book. Images not bad, but could do with more, a tad simplistic but this would be fine for a beginner.
Rating: - Too advanced for beginners!
I found this book impossible to use! The photos and illustrations were so detailed, with lines traveling everywhere, that I couldn't transfer what I saw on the page to what I saw on my hand. I was disappointed.
